In the second iteration of Blur paintings, full color returns. In some paintings, the underlying support structure has been altered to reflect a shift, or realignment, of the foundational construction. Icons such as pixel hearts, rainbows, and palm trees are emotional touchstones, suggesting resilience, nurturing, and optimism. Transparent marine vinyl allows the "bones" of each painting to be seen, underscoring the object-ness of the series and centering rebuilding and renewal.
