In the second iteration of Blur paintings, full color returns. In some paintings, the underlying support structure has been altered to reflect a shift, or realignment, of the foundational construction. Icons such as a pixel heart, rainbow, and palm tree are emotional touchstones, suggesting resilience, nurturing, and optimism. Transparent marine vinyl allows the "bones" of each painting to be seen, underscoring the object-ness of the series as well as a focus on rebuilding and renewal.
