The Multiple-canvas Paintings, ongoing since 2007, have since taken on many forms and sculptural appendages. From the early works, which featured heavy black spray paint and sports balls, to the later works with gold mirror strips, these monumentally scaled paintings continue the shaped canvas tradition in New York painting, extending and upending pictorial space and the conventions of the square or rectangular canvas.
